How this behaves
Letter segments count the way spreadsheet columns do, so the twenty-seventh value is AA rather than a second A. Digit segments are zero-padded to the width you set, which keeps values sorting correctly once they pass nine. Fixed text is printed exactly as entered, in upper case.
The warnings look for characters that are read back incorrectly by people, for single-digit segments that will stop sorting, and for identifiers long enough to cause a fit problem on the label or a truncation in a record field. They are prompts to check something, not a validation service.
Ranges are capped at 500 rows so a mistyped bound cannot lock up the page. Nothing entered here leaves your browser.
